It’s been a long, hard winter but spring is finally in the air, which means a new batch of robots is ready to come out of hibernation. Stop by to meet our newest creations Friday, April 12, from 6-10 p.m. and Saturday, April 13 from 1-4 at the Hobbs Building in Kansas City’s West Bottoms. We were featured on Fox 4 News this morning. The robots had a bit of stage fright and were rather stiff, but we picked up their slack. Also, be sure to check out our behind the scenes photos!
Nerdbots at Google Fiber Space
We were quite honored to be featured in the Google Fiber Space when it opened earlier this summer. We showed 13 robots in the space for several weeks. If you live in Kansas City, we hope you had a chance to see them in person. And if not, take a little tour with these photos on the Fiber Space Facebook page. Thanks for having us!
The whole gang showed up just in time for our October 19-20 open studios. Join us at the Hobbs Building at 1427 W. 9th St. in Kansas City’s West Bottoms. We’ll be there Friday, October 19, from 6-10 p.m. and Saturday, October 20, from 12-4 p.m. In addition to the bots, there are four floors of member artists who open their doors just twice a year to show their work (while also providing food, drinks and live music). Outdoor food trucks will also be on site.
And just like last time, we will be featuring a couple of great promotions during open studios:
