Nerdbots

“The Art of the Robot” exhibit will be on display at the Mulvane Art Museum on the Washburn University campus in Topeka, Kansas. Several robot artists, including yours truly, will be on display June 19 through September 19. In addition to the robots in the exhibition, we also have several Nerdbots for sale in the gift shop.

If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by during museum hours Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Wednesdays-Fridays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. You can also join us for the opening reception Friday, July 2, from 5-8 p.m. Admission is free.

Bring your little ones along and swing by the museum’s ArtLab in the basement for some fun (and free) hands-on art learning. Your aspiring artists can even complete their own robot projects. While you’re down there, be sure to say hello to the Nerdbot who now permanently resides in the ArtLab. We don’t want him to get lonely.

Our show at the Kansas City Plaza Halls is being extended an extra week to coincide with the Plaza Art Fair September 25-27. There are still plenty of robots up for adoption, plus all the latest and greatest Nerdbots merch.

Our last Halls show resulted in over 20 successful robot adoptions, and this summer’s displays will be no exception. The Plaza location should go up Thursday, August 13, and a small handful of robots will  be at the Crown Center location starting Monday, August 17. Stop by early before all our robot creations get sent away to new homes, and come often as we hope to replace sold robots as they leave the shelves.

Hey Kansas City fans, visit the Plaza Halls location between now and February 21 to see 20 of our Nerdbots on display, 15 of which haven’t yet graced the public with their appearances. 

And speaking of gracing the public with appearances, we will be there in person on two separate Saturdays: February 7 and 14, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Stop by to talk to us or peruse the massive robot selection. Hope to see you there!
