We’re excited to be participating in this year’s Hobbs Open Studio tour October 16-18. Join us in our new, larger studio space for delicious food, drinks and great company. Don’t forget to check out the over 20 other artists in our building who are also participating.

The Hobbs Building is located at 1427 West 9th Street in Kansas City’s West Bottoms. Nerd Headquarters are on the 3rd floor in studio 304.

We are finalists in the Paint the District art competition in Kansas City’s Power & Light District. Head downtown to see several banners of our very own Farm Master. You can easily vote for Farm Master online too and help us win.

Hopefully all the publicity doesn’t go to his head.

Our show at the Kansas City Plaza Halls is being extended an extra week to coincide with the Plaza Art Fair September 25-27. There are still plenty of robots up for adoption, plus all the latest and greatest Nerdbots merch.

If you’re in Kansas City and have some free time Saturday, August 29, we’d love for you to grab a latte at the Starbucks on 4101 Main Street and hang out with us. We’ll be doing an artist talk while we showcase some of our robots from 9 until 11 in the morning. And as if that isn’t enough, enjoy free iced tea and pastry tastings courtesy of our friends at Starbucks.

Our last Halls show resulted in over 20 successful robot adoptions, and this summer’s displays will be no exception. The Plaza location should go up Thursday, August 13, and a small handful of robots will  be at the Crown Center location starting Monday, August 17. Stop by early before all our robot creations get sent away to new homes, and come often as we hope to replace sold robots as they leave the shelves.
