Last year, a group of Bill Nelson fans commissioned a Nerdbot as a surprise gift for their favorite musician. They presented Victor to Bill at Nelsonica, the annual fan convention in England. Since that day last November, Victor has been happily residing with Bill at his home. He’s even mentioned Victor a couple of times in his online diary.

Victor is now making his big debut to the public by appearing on the cover of Bill’s upcoming 8-disc boxed set titled “The Practice of Everyday Life.” He’s the little guy proudly perched atop the grand piano, his breastplate reflecting a beam of light. The boxed set will be released on November 1, 2011.

Kevin recently sent in photos of adorable little Indestro, who resides in Kansas City with his two dads, three cats and lots of great art by local artists. Kevin himself is an accomplished artist. From Kevin: “As you can tell, he likes to model for the camera and understands his best angles.”

Square D has been happily living with Erin and Michael in Boston for the past few years. He hangs out on their mantle and keeps a watch on everything from his perch.

Marco and Buck

Monday, October 10, 2011 @ 12:37 pm

Thanks to everyone who helped us reach 500 Facebook fans. As promised, we drew a name at random to receive a free Nerdbot. Here’s our winner Marco meeting his new robot, Buck, for the very first time. Buck and Marco live in Kansas City together.

We’ll do the drawing again when we hit 1,000 fans, so stay tuned.

Have you adopted a Nerdbot? Give us an update.
