Bart’s new adventure

Sunday, March 7, 2010 @ 5:24 pm

brothers Mirro and Bart

Bart was recently adopted by Pamela and Mike. He was welcomed eagerly by big brother Mirro and since Pamela’s father was a postal carrier, Bart felt right at home. Bart and Mirro have already compared their respective stamp and coin collections, and Mirro is saving any uncollectible coins to fund Bart’s dream of attending the Annual StampShow and Convention. In their spare time they debate algorithm characterizations and recreate scenes from Star Wars as C-3P0 and R2-D2.

Transformer’s first Christmas Down Under

Thursday, January 8, 2009 @ 9:59 pm

To celebrate the holidays, Transformer joined his new family in Australia for a lunch picnic in the rainforest. It was a cool place to spend a hot summer day.

He kicked things off by having a little bit too much Christmas cheer before lunch. He also enjoyed his most important role, guarding the loot.

To work off all the fruit mince pies, Transformer went on his first rainforest walk. He was one with nature, resting at the cool base of a giant, mossy fig tree. Along the path he collected leaves, one of his new Aussie hobbies. Transformer felt like he’d really opened his heart to the Australian bush, but of course he still misses home.

Special thanks to Adrienne Williams, Transformer’s new owner, for the photos and update.
